Those tiny fingers and toes, curlicue lashes, wispy hair, little lips and ears, soft skin, baby smells and the way they nuzzle into you, all give you a sense of awe at the miracle of this new life, this unique new person in your family.These early unpredictable days of crashing exhaustion, and sometimes apprehension can feel like an eternity but really they pass quickly and afterwards you can feel like you were in a blur.
